Viedās šūpoles – Accenture dāvinājums Rīgai, atzīmējot 20 darbības gadus Latvijā – ir interaktīvs vides objekts, kas spēj šūpošanās prieku pārvērst enerģijā. Tās ir ne tikai izklaides objekts, bet kalpo arī kā viedierīču bezmaksas uzlādes punkts, kurā elektrība tiek ražota šūpošanās laikā un no tām pievienotajiem saules paneļiem.
Šis vides objekts ir simbols sadarbībai starp cilvēkiem un tehnoloģiju, mijiedarbībā ražojot ko pozitīvu. Saražotā elektrība papildina šūpošanās pieredzi ar elektroniski sintezētu skaņu un LED gaismas elementiem. Šūpoles atrodas uz AB dambja, un ļauj interesentiem uzlādēt sevi un ierīci, izbaudot Rīgas panorāmu.
Šis objekts ir piemērs veiksmīgai uzņēmuma un pašvaldības sadarbībai, kopā uzlabojot pilsētvidi un rosinot domāt par IT nozares lomu tās attīstībā. Trīs mēnešu laikā šūpoles izmantotas vairāk nekā 11700 reižu (vidēji ap 130 reizēm dienā), saražojot vairāk kā 86 kWh enerģijas, ļaujot tām darboties nepārtraukti un neatkarīgi no ārējiem strāvas avotiem.
The smart swing set, gifted to Riga by Accenture to mark its 20 year anniversary in Latvia, is an interactive installation, which turns joy into energy. It's not only fun, but also functions as a charging station for smart devices. The energy is created by swinging and by the integrated solar panels.
This installation symbolises the positive and exciting cooperation between humans and technology. The produced electricity enhances the swinging experience with electronic synthesised sound and LED light elements. Located on Riga’s AB Dam, the swing set allows people to recharge themselves and their devices, while enjoying the cityscape.
The object represents a successful partnership between a company and the municipality by improving the city life while promoting IT. Over the three months, the swing set has been used more than 11700 times (approx. 130 times per day), producing more than 86kWh of energy. Thus, the swingset functions around the clock and without any external energy sources.
